Houston Gulf Coast Alarm Association, Inc. ("HGCAA") Privacy Policy

HGCAA is committed to respecting the privacy of all our visitors. Although we track the total number of visitors to each of our sites in an aggregate form to allow us to update and improve our sites, personal identifiable information is not extracted in this process. We do not use "cookie" technology (where our servers would download special codes on a visitor's computer).

HGCAA only collects  personally identifiable data, such as: names, addresses, eMail addresses, billing addresses, and credit card numbers when voluntarily submitted by a visitor who requests HGCAA's service, software, or other products or information be sent, either through a download or through the postal or delivery service. The information we collect is used by us to follow up on orders or information requests, and is not shared with other organizations.

HGCAA will respond to visitors who send us eMail to particular addresses, for example, regarding advertising, partnering, or employment opportunities. HGCAA will use the information submitted in those eMails only to respond to the purpose specified by the sender.

HGCAA does not sell or release any information gathered to any third parties. All information gathered will be used only by HGCAA to improve our products, services, and websites, and for internal marketing analysis.

A SPECIAL NOTE FOR PARENTS CONCERNING PRIVACY

HGCAA asks that  visitors providing us personal identifiable information to be 18 years of age or older. However, HGCAA believes that parents should supervise their children's online activities and maintain their Internet filtering provided by HGCAA, together with other  online services and software manufacturers that help provide a kid-safe online environment. Please instruct your children not to give us their name, address, or eMail address, sign up to receive our software, or provide any other personal information to anyone, without your permission.
